Migrating a Legacy Toy Brand from Magento to Shopify
We replatformed its North American sites from Magento to Shopify and simultaneously refreshed its approach to direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce. The new website now enables rapid deployment, AI capabilities, and theme flexibility that is customized for their unique needs.
The migration of Schleich’s Canadian and American e-commerce sites was a collaborative effort between both teams. During scoping, we deeply analyzed the brand’s order flow and existing sites. The migration to Shopify provided rapid deployment, AI capabilities, and access to Shopify’s ecosystem. In just days, we rebuilt Schleich’s backend flow, a process that would have taken months on Magento. Now, we’re developing stronger personalization tools through machine learning for the next phase.
